About Me
- Diana Evensen
- These are a few of my favorite things (not in order of importance): Creating beautiful things from paper or fabric; Loving puppy dogs (and cats, and other furry critters); Being part of the Eagan Hills Alliance Church family; Enjoying my grandchildren; Relaxing with my husband - especially someplace with dramatic nature (like the North Shore of Lake Superior); Being appreciated by folks where I work.

Friends are Treasures
I had some 5x7 cards to use up, so I made a set of these thinking of you / friendship cards. For the embossed background, I inked a Cuttlebug embossing folder with Antique Linen Distress Ink before putting in the paper and running it thru the Big Shot. I wanted a "mat" for the Thinking of you sentiment, but didn't have a scalloped oval that graduated up from the Stampin' Up scalloped oval punch. So I used that punch and cut the oval in the middle, to add the pieces behind the sentiment. The scalloped oval pieces didn't provide full background, so that's why the sentiment mat overlaps the mat for the little girl image.
